What DevUp Stores
DevUp stores the information needed to provide your account and standup history: your account email, authentication identifiers, optional authenticator-app second-factor details, standup entries, task notes, blockers, monthly goals, lock status, and basic operational records needed to run and secure the service.
Do not enter sensitive, confidential, client-restricted, regulated, health, financial, legal, or secret information into DevUp.
If you use DevUp for workplace tasks, your entries may still contain personal data or confidential business information. You must only enter information your employer, client, contract, NDA, and internal policies allow you to store in a third-party tool.
Why We Use It
We use your data to provide the DevUp service, save your standup history, authenticate your account, protect the app from misuse, debug reliability issues, and respond to support or deletion requests.
The core service is processed because it is necessary to provide the product you request. Optional support messages are processed so we can respond to you. We do not sell your standup entries.
Service Providers
DevUp uses Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database storage, and server infrastructure. If AI generation features are used, relevant prompt content may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate the requested output.
If you enable authenticator-app two-factor authentication, Firebase/Google processes the second-factor enrollment and verification data needed to secure sign-in.
Retention and Deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active unless deletion is requested or the service requires shorter retention. You can request account or data deletion by emailing kane@mcilroysoftwaresolutions.co.uk.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for making sure the information you enter is appropriate for storage in DevUp and does not breach your employer, client, or project confidentiality obligations.
